A Boston-shaped acetate frame distinguished by angular brow lines reminiscent of a mountain ridge.

At first glance, its bold design feels distinctive, but the deliberately drooping lens shape adds softness to the expression. When worn, it never feels overly assertive; its carefully considered balance lets it blend naturally with your features.

A television cut around the lenses creates a sense of dimension and depth as the light catches the frame. Even in its simple construction, the meticulous attention to detail is clear.

The temples are slightly slimmer than those of previous models, lending the frame an overall lighter feel while providing a more precise fit and greater comfort.

The hinges are made of brass, a material long used in vintage eyewear. The way it develops character over time with wear is one of this model’s distinctive pleasures.

The Dusty Champagne acetate features a refined, understated hue: a champagne base with a subtle muted finish. Its combination of translucency and soft luster tempers the sharpness of the design, bringing a light, sophisticated impression to the face.

Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand
Brand logo
Founded in 1921 in Oyonnax, in the Jura region of France, the brand emerged from a town renowned as a hub for comb manufacturing. With the popularization of celluloid, Max Pittion transformed his father’s comb factory into an eyewear manufacturing facility named "Pittion Lunetterie" and established the brand.

Dedicated to quality and unique coloring, the brand grew into a world-class eyewear manufacturer within a single generation. Max Pittion also helped establish SILMO, one of the world's largest international eyewear trade fairs, leaving a significant impact on the eyewear industry.

In the 1960s and 70s, the sophisticated designs of MAX PITTION gained popularity among artists and actors, earning global recognition. However, at the height of its success, the brand announced a temporary hiatus.

In 2023, Max’s son, Bernard Pittion, entrusted the revival of the brand to Tommy Ogara of The LIGHT Co., Ltd., who has faithfully reproduced the original designs.

Since then, Japanese artisans in Sabae, Fukui, have collaborated with the French team to produce eyewear of the highest quality.
