A Boston-shaped acetate frame with angular brow lines that evoke a mountain ridge.

At first glance, the bold design feels distinctive, but the deliberately downturned lens shape softens the expression. The frame is carefully balanced to sit naturally with your features without feeling too assertive when worn.

A television cut around the lenses creates a sense of dimension and depth as it catches the light. Even in its simple construction, the meticulous attention to detail is evident.

The temples are slightly slimmer than those of previous models, giving the frame a lighter overall look while ensuring a more precise fit and greater comfort.

The hinges are made of brass, a material often used in vintage eyewear. The way it develops character with wear is another pleasure unique to this model.

Tortoiseshell-patterned acetate lends depth and understated elegance to VOILA’s sharp lines, further enhancing its classic character. Its coloring softly envelops the angular design, bringing presence and wearability together in perfect balance.

Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand
Brand logo
Founded in 1921 in Oyonnax, in the Jura region of France. Oyonnax was known for its comb production, and when celluloid became widely used, Max Pittion converted his father's comb factory into an eyewear factory called "Pittion Lunetterie" and established the brand.

Dedicated to quality and unique coloring, the company grew into a world-class eyewear manufacturer in a single generation. Max Pittion was also involved in the founding of "SILMO," one of the world's largest international eyewear trade fairs, leaving a significant impact on the eyewear industry.

In the 1960s and 70s, the sophisticated designs of MAX PITTION gained popularity among artists and actors, earning global recognition. However, at the height of its popularity, the brand announced a temporary hiatus.

In 2023, his son, Bernard Pittion, entrusted the revival of the brand to Tommy O'Gara of The LIGHT Co., Ltd., who faithfully reproduced the original designs.

Since then, Japanese artisans in Sabae, Fukui, have been working in collaboration with the French team to produce the highest quality eyewear.
