The "M2076" is a combination frame based on a classic Boston shape, incorporating MATSUDA's signature delicate design elements throughout.

The soft, rounded shape has a classic feel while remaining understated, creating a well-balanced design that naturally blends into everyday style. With a comfortably relaxed fit, it is designed to suit anyone, regardless of gender.

The front features a soft-toned matte champagne finish. The subtle, skin-friendly color is paired with elegant rose gold titanium temples, creating a refined color palette that brightens the face without being overly flashy.

Particularly eye-catching is the delicate engraved pattern on the temples. The fine detailing adds depth to the metal components, allowing the meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of MATSUDA to shine through the simple Boston shape.

Its versatility also makes it easy to incorporate into any look, whether on or off duty. Combining an easy-to-wear everyday design with delicate details that become more apparent upon closer inspection, this model has the potential to become a new MATSUDA classic.

Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand
Brand logo
MATSUDA is a luxury eyewear brand established in 1989 by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, the founder of the fashion brand "NICOLE" and a designer who led the Japanese fashion scene in the 1980s as one of the "Top Designer 6" (TD6).

Drawing upon an aesthetic sense cultivated as a fashion designer, the brand fuses classic, avant-garde, and architectural elements. By combining the highly skilled manual work of Japanese artisans with carefully selected materials such as titanium and acetate, MATSUDA creates eyewear that possesses both the meticulousness of a craft piece and an overwhelming presence.

The brand is defined by its delicate metalwork and substantial, three-dimensional structural expressions. Its unique designs—reminiscent of Victorian culture, Art Deco, and even steampunk—have earned high global acclaim not merely as vision correction tools, but as "art pieces to be worn."

In the 1990s, the brand gained significant support overseas after being worn in Hollywood films and by prominent artists. Its unique worldview and overwhelming sculptural beauty captivated many celebrities and fashion icons, catapulting the MATSUDA name to global status.

Although the brand went on a temporary hiatus, it was revived in 2011 by a new design team. While inheriting the philosophy and craftsmanship established by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, the brand continues to develop collections that incorporate a contemporary sensibility.

Unaffected by eras or trends, MATSUDA continues to uphold its own unique aesthetic. Its eyewear, a fusion of Japanese artisanal techniques and fashion culture, continues to fascinate eyewear enthusiasts around the world to this day.
