The "M2075" is a sunglass model that reimagines the classic browline style through the brand's unique sensibility.
Based on a refined Wellington shape characterized by straight lines, the brow features high-density compressed acetate. While offering a moderate sense of volume, the sharp edges achieve a balance between substantial weight and sophisticated lightness.
Metal parts with delicate engravings on the rims and bridge are incorporated to express the artisanal beauty synonymous with MATSUDA within a classic structure. Furthermore, the temples are adorned with cloisonné patterns reminiscent of stained glass, adding a subtle elegance and depth to the profile.
The coloring features a translucent clear beige brow combined with elegant antique silver metal. The calm shading unique to antique silver is added to the soft, airy look, providing just the right amount of depth to the classic aesthetic.
In addition, deep gray lenses tighten the overall impression, achieving an exquisite balance between lightness and weight. It is a piece that allows one to naturally wear a sophisticated air.
Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand +
Drawing on the aesthetic sensibilities cultivated as a fashion designer, the brand fuses classic, avant-garde, and architectural elements. By combining highly advanced craftsmanship by skilled Japanese artisans with carefully selected materials such as titanium and acetate, MATSUDA creates eyewear with the meticulousness of art pieces and an overwhelming presence.
The brand is characterized by delicate metalwork and a profound, three-dimensional structural expression. Its original designs, reminiscent of Victorian culture, Art Deco, and even steampunk, have earned high acclaim worldwide not merely as vision correction devices, but as “wearable art pieces.”
In the 1990s, the brand gained strong support overseas after being worn by Hollywood movie stars and renowned artists. Its unique worldview and overwhelming sculptural beauty captivated many celebrities and fashion icons, propelling the name MATSUDA to global recognition.
Although the brand was temporarily suspended afterward, it was revived in 2011 by a new design team. While inheriting the philosophy and craftsmanship established by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, it now develops collections that incorporate contemporary sensibilities.
Unswayed by the times or trends, MATSUDA continues to uphold its unique aesthetic. Its eyewear, a fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and fashion culture, continues to captivate eyewear enthusiasts around the world.
