The "M2075" is a sunglass model that reconstructs the classic browline style with the brand’s unique sensibility.
Based on a clean, straight-lined Wellington shape, the brow section utilizes high-density compressed acetate. While offering a balanced sense of volume, sharp edges are incorporated to achieve a combination of gravitas and refined lightness.
The rims and bridge are paired with metal parts featuring delicate engravings, expressing the artisanal beauty characteristic of MATSUDA within a classic structure. Furthermore, the temples are adorned with cloisonné enamel in an arabesque pattern reminiscent of stained glass, adding subtle elegance and depth to the profile.
The colorway features a chic combination of a sharp black brow and matte, sophisticated silver-colored metal. The addition of subtle silver shadows to the inherent strength of black creates a refined, urban expression.
In addition, the pairing of grey gradient lenses adds a touch of luster and allure to the powerful black and silver look, resulting in a piece that exudes a somewhat mysterious mood amidst its classic presence.
Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand +
Drawing on the aesthetic sensibilities cultivated as a fashion designer, the brand fuses classic, avant-garde, and architectural elements. By combining highly advanced craftsmanship by skilled Japanese artisans with carefully selected materials such as titanium and acetate, MATSUDA creates eyewear with the meticulousness of art pieces and an overwhelming presence.
The brand is characterized by delicate metalwork and a profound, three-dimensional structural expression. Its original designs, reminiscent of Victorian culture, Art Deco, and even steampunk, have earned high acclaim worldwide not merely as vision correction devices, but as “wearable art pieces.”
In the 1990s, the brand gained strong support overseas after being worn by Hollywood movie stars and renowned artists. Its unique worldview and overwhelming sculptural beauty captivated many celebrities and fashion icons, propelling the name MATSUDA to global recognition.
Although the brand was temporarily suspended afterward, it was revived in 2011 by a new design team. While inheriting the philosophy and craftsmanship established by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, it now develops collections that incorporate contemporary sensibilities.
Unswayed by the times or trends, MATSUDA continues to uphold its unique aesthetic. Its eyewear, a fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and fashion culture, continues to captivate eyewear enthusiasts around the world.
