The "2809H-V2" is a reconstruction of one of MATSUDA's iconic archival models, the "2809H," updated with modern specifications.

Famous for being worn by Sarah Connor in the 1991 film "Terminator 2," this model continues to be supported by fans worldwide as one of MATSUDA's most representative pieces.

The side shields, which command an overwhelming presence, feature a design unique to MATSUDA that radiates a futuristic mood while retaining a classic air. The three-dimensional and intricately constructed details are infused with the uncompromising craftsmanship of Sabae artisans.

Furthermore, the specifications have been updated from the original to feature titanium. This significantly enhances weight reduction, durability, and comfort, ensuring a pleasant wearing experience despite the bold design.

The spring-loaded side shields are detachable. Removing them drastically changes the impression, shifting the style to a sophisticated look that is easy to incorporate into everyday wear.

This model is a collector's edition limited to 500 pieces worldwide. Each frame is engraved with a serial number and comes with a special wooden case designed for both storage and display.

In addition, it includes a MATSUDA original leather strap crafted by the popular Japanese leather brand "ITTI," adding a sense of exclusivity to every detail.

The color scheme features an antique gold frame paired with bottle green side shields and temple tips for a striking look.

MATSUDA is a luxury eyewear brand founded in 1989 by fashion brand “NICOLE” founder Mitsuhiro Matsuda, a designer who led the Japanese fashion scene in the 1980s as one of the “Top Designer Six (TD6).”

Drawing on the aesthetic sensibilities cultivated as a fashion designer, the brand fuses classic, avant-garde, and architectural elements. By combining highly advanced craftsmanship by skilled Japanese artisans with carefully selected materials such as titanium and acetate, MATSUDA creates eyewear with the meticulousness of art pieces and an overwhelming presence.
