The "10601H" is one of the heritage models that symbolizes MATSUDA.
Inspired by the "Finch-type glasses," a pair of nose-mounted spectacles used in the late 19th century, the "10601" was introduced in 1995.
It is one of MATSUDA's signature round sunglasses, reimagining its original design with a modern sensibility.
Unique metal parts around the lenses and on the bridge add an industrial and futuristic touch to the classic design.
The lightweight titanium rims are finely engraved with the brand's signature "M+N" motif. Delicate detailing on the temples and bridge gives the glasses an almost artisanal appearance.
The RTM color is a dark ruthenium.
The deep dark gray metal color lends an inorganic nuance to the intricately assembled metal parts and meticulous metalwork, making the mechanical form even more striking.
The lenses feature a muted cafe pink with brown undertones. This adds softness and allure to the bold ruthenium color, creating a distinctive yet understated balance.
A signature pair that fully showcases MATSUDA's advanced metalworking and timeless, original design.
Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand +
Drawing on the aesthetic sensibilities cultivated as a fashion designer, the brand fuses classic, avant-garde, and architectural elements. By combining highly advanced craftsmanship by skilled Japanese artisans with carefully selected materials such as titanium and acetate, MATSUDA creates eyewear with the meticulousness of art pieces and an overwhelming presence.
The brand is characterized by delicate metalwork and a profound, three-dimensional structural expression. Its original designs, reminiscent of Victorian culture, Art Deco, and even steampunk, have earned high acclaim worldwide not merely as vision correction devices, but as “wearable art pieces.”
In the 1990s, the brand gained strong support overseas after being worn by Hollywood movie stars and renowned artists. Its unique worldview and overwhelming sculptural beauty captivated many celebrities and fashion icons, propelling the name MATSUDA to global recognition.
Although the brand was temporarily suspended afterward, it was revived in 2011 by a new design team. While inheriting the philosophy and craftsmanship established by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, it now develops collections that incorporate contemporary sensibilities.
Unswayed by the times or trends, MATSUDA continues to uphold its unique aesthetic. Its eyewear, a fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and fashion culture, continues to captivate eyewear enthusiasts around the world.
