10103H-i col.AS-NVY
This renewed model inherits the appeal of MATSUDA's iconic masterpiece, the "10103H," while introducing new specifications.
The original bridge structure, inspired by pince-nez glasses that clip onto the nose, is a design that symbolizes MATSUDA's unique ingenuity. While rooted in classic design, it exudes a distinctive presence unlike any other.
By combining an acetate inner rim with a round metal frame, the contours are more pronounced than those of the original "10103H," adding a moderately soft impression and an easy-to-wear casualness for everyday use. It combines a classic appearance with modern comfort.
The meticulous metalwork and handcrafted finishes applied throughout—from the temples to the rims and bridge—are another highlight. The exquisite details reminiscent of a piece of craftsmanship embody not only a pair of glasses but MATSUDA's craftsmanship itself.
Col. AS-NVY combines antique silver metal with a navy inner rim. The deep navy adds a subtle accent to the subdued silver finish, giving the classic design an intellectual and elegant impression. It is not as heavy as black, bringing a moderate lightness and sophisticated individuality to your outfit.
Classic and modern, originality and practicality. This is a pair of glasses that allows you to fully experience the world of MATSUDA, blending these contrasting elements to a high level.
Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand +
Drawing on the aesthetic sensibilities cultivated as a fashion designer, the brand fuses classic, avant-garde, and architectural elements. By combining highly advanced craftsmanship by skilled Japanese artisans with carefully selected materials such as titanium and acetate, MATSUDA creates eyewear with the meticulousness of art pieces and an overwhelming presence.
The brand is characterized by delicate metalwork and a profound, three-dimensional structural expression. Its original designs, reminiscent of Victorian culture, Art Deco, and even steampunk, have earned high acclaim worldwide not merely as vision correction devices, but as “wearable art pieces.”
In the 1990s, the brand gained strong support overseas after being worn by Hollywood movie stars and renowned artists. Its unique worldview and overwhelming sculptural beauty captivated many celebrities and fashion icons, propelling the name MATSUDA to global recognition.
Although the brand was temporarily suspended afterward, it was revived in 2011 by a new design team. While inheriting the philosophy and craftsmanship established by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, it now develops collections that incorporate contemporary sensibilities.
Unswayed by the times or trends, MATSUDA continues to uphold its unique aesthetic. Its eyewear, a fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and fashion culture, continues to captivate eyewear enthusiasts around the world.
