10103H-i col.AG-DEM
A renewed model that inherits the appeal of MATSUDA's signature masterpiece, the "10103H," while introducing new specifications.
The original bridge structure, inspired by pince-nez glasses that clip onto the nose, is a design that symbolizes MATSUDA's unique ingenuity. While rooted in classic style, it exudes a distinctive presence unlike any other.
By combining acetate inner rims with round metal frames, the contours stand out more than those of the original "10103H," adding a gently soft impression and an everyday casualness. It combines a classic appearance with modern comfort.
The meticulous metalwork and hand-finished details applied throughout the temples, rims, and bridge are another highlight. The exquisite details reminiscent of a piece of craftsmanship embody not only a pair of glasses but MATSUDA's craftsmanship itself.
Col. AG-DEM combines antique gold metal with tortoiseshell-patterned acetate inner rims. The subdued gold tone harmonizes with the soft demi-pattern, creating a finish that combines a vintage feel with approachability. It is a colorway that highlights the intricate metal part decorations while creating a moderately relaxed look.
Classic and modern, originality and practicality. This is a pair of glasses that allows you to fully enjoy the world of MATSUDA, blending these contrasting elements to a high level.
Patterns and colours may vary slightly between individual frames and from the images shown.

About the brand +
Drawing on the aesthetic sensibilities cultivated through his career as a fashion designer, Matsuda fuses classic, avant-garde, and architectural elements. By combining the exquisite craftsmanship of skilled Japanese artisans with carefully selected materials such as titanium and acetate, the brand creates eyewear with the meticulousness of art pieces and an overwhelming presence.
The brand is defined by delicate metalwork and substantial, three-dimensional structural expression. Its original designs, evoking Victorian culture, Art Deco, and even steampunk, transcend mere vision correction to earn high acclaim worldwide as “wearable art pieces.”
In the 1990s, the brand gained widespread support overseas after being worn by Hollywood movie stars and renowned artists. Its distinctive worldview and striking sculptural beauty captivated many celebrities and fashion icons, propelling MATSUDA to global fame.
Although the brand was temporarily suspended afterward, it was revived in 2011 by a new design team. While carrying forward the philosophy and craftsmanship established by Mitsuhiro Matsuda, the brand now offers collections that incorporate a contemporary sensibility.
Unswayed by the times or trends, MATSUDA remains steadfast in its unique aesthetic. Its eyewear, a fusion of Japanese craftsmanship and fashion culture, continues to captivate eyewear enthusiasts around the world.
