GIENNA col.E-1

The "GIENNA" is a pair of sunglasses that epitomizes SATO, featuring a sculptural, thick volume and sophisticated colors that leave a lasting impression.

Based on a rounded panto shape, this design possesses a strong presence carved three-dimensionally from Japanese acetate. The soft lens shape is combined with a gently rising brow line and outwardly protruding end pieces, adding SATO's signature strength to a classic aesthetic.

The front features steps and cuttings that create depth along the contours, resulting in a finish that reveals rich shadows depending on the viewing angle. The small diamond-shaped metal parts placed on the front and temples serve as delicate accents that sharpen the substantial look of the acetate.

Color E-1 is "Eclipse," a glossy black concealing a vibrant blue. The exterior from the front to the temples is finished in black, while the inside of the temples features a translucent blue. The blue that peeks through at certain angles adds a subtle splash of color to the composed appearance. The lenses feature a blue gradient. The shift from a deep blue to a lighter tone brings a sense of lightness to the powerful frame, completing a stylish and elegant look.
