The "Keid" sunglasses feature an impressionable rounded Wellington shape and a deep, clear blue hue.

The front design combines a straight brow line with soft curves along the bottom. Crafted from thick Japanese acetate, it adds a bold, signature SATO presence to a familiar, classic form. Three-dimensional cutting along the contours creates rich shadows depending on the angle of light, beautifully accentuating the depth and luster of the acetate.

A three-dimensional metal piece with fine-lined detailing is placed at the temple hinge, adding a sharp, metallic accent to the smooth texture of the acetate. Along with the small diamond-shaped ornaments at both ends of the front, the design showcases a meticulous attention to detail even from the profile.

Color NB/AS-1 is a combination of deep, clear navy blue and antique silver. When light passes through, the transparency and vivid blue of the acetate emerge, harmonizing beautifully with the subdued silver metal parts. The lenses feature a dark blue gradient; the layering of different blue tones between the frame and lenses brings depth and lightness to the substantial form.

A special model limited to 350 pieces, meticulously crafted by Japanese artisans. With its bold construction, delicate metalwork, and translucent colors, this piece elegantly enhances the individuality of the wearer.

A luxury eyewear brand founded in Paris, France, in 2022. Created by Kevin Godard-Elbaz, the brand appointed Japanese designer Eque as its designer.

Its designs draw inspiration from the distinctive aesthetic of the 1990s and a free-spirited refusal to be bound by convention. Architectural lines and intricate details bring the era’s boldness to life with a contemporary sensibility. Blending classic elegance with a rebellious edge, the collections bring out the individuality of the wearer.

The brand name combines “Sato,” a tribute to Japanese craftsmanship, with the French phrase “Sans Art, le Talent est Oublié” (“Without art, talent is forgotten”). The sensibilities of France and the craftsmanship of Japan come together to shape the world of SATO.

Every frame is made by skilled artisans in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture.
