The rimless 1296-2 combines a teardrop-inspired lens shape with a delicate double bridge. A straight upper edge and diagonally cut outer corners contrast with the softly rounded lower lens. Its distinctive shape, inherited from the 1007, stands out in the light, rimless construction.

The upper bar can be removed to create a single-bridge frame. Enjoy the classic presence of the double bridge or a cleaner single-bridge look to suit your outfit.

The design follows the 1096, which was inspired by dress watches. The endpieces and temples incorporate forms drawn from watch cases and dials. Polishing time is adjusted to suit the plating, carefully defining even the edges of small components. The appeal lies in the beauty of the forms themselves rather than added ornament.

The front is titanium and the temples are beta titanium.

The sunglass lenses use lightweight, durable MR material in an original colour developed for this model.

Colour 812 pairs a softly lustrous silver-toned frame with gentle pink-toned lenses. The faint reddish hue adds warmth to the precise metalwork. The rimless structure brings out the lens colour, balancing lightness with a touch of brightness.

Watch-inspired attention to detail and a changeable bridge design add subtle individuality and colour to everyday dressing.

A collection line that carries on the philosophy of the Japan-born fashion eyewear brand “EYEVAN,” drawing back and forth between its archives and the latest technology to offer “glasses that are truly beautiful today.”

Each pair is crafted in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, one of the world’s leading eyewear manufacturing regions, by a small, highly skilled team of artisans through approximately 400 individual steps. Though simple in appearance, the delicate craftsmanship imbued in their structure and form ensures both the products’ elegance and exceptional comfort.

“EYEVAN” was born in 1972 with the theme of “glasses you wear,” and made its world debut in 1985, starting with a select shop in Los Angeles. The brand name “7285” pays tribute to these two years (’72 and ’85).

In 2013, 〈EYEVAN 7285〉 was launched as a project to reconstruct that spirit and an extensive archive of technical drawings for the modern era.
