MISHIMA (Mishima) col. Wine

JACQUES MARIE MAGE "MISHIMA," named after the Japanese author Yukio Mishima.

Based on a classic square shape, this model combines JMM's signature bold volume with straight, powerful lines.

The front, crafted from thick acetate, features a striking rim and angular lines. Despite its substantial silhouette, three-dimensional cutouts throughout create depth and shadow, giving it a sculptural appearance that sets it apart from ordinary thick-rimmed frames.

The front is accented with the brand's signature metal hardware. The temples also incorporate decorative metal cores, showcasing the delicate detailing unique to JMM.

The combination of voluminous acetate and intricate metal hardware creates a sophisticated feel despite its bold presence.

The "Wine" colorway features a deep burgundy base, combining understated elegance with a glamorous touch.

The front is crafted from a reddish, dark purple-toned acetate. While it has a substantial, near-black appearance, subtle reddish-purple hues emerge depending on how the light hits, adding depth to its expression.

Particularly striking is the gold-colored decoration on the outside of the temples. The delicate design, featuring layered straight lines, creates a beautiful contrast with the deep frame color and adds a luxurious presence to the wearer's profile.
