Learn more about the brand

Established in 1972, the brand was born as Japan's first fashion eyewear designed to be "worn like clothing."
It began with the vision of transforming eyewear, which was considered a "medical device" at the time, into a fashion accessory.
Under the supervision of Kensuke Ishizu, head of VAN JACKET, it pioneered the new concept of "Eyevan" (wearing eyewear).

Rooted in Japanese aesthetics and the precise craftsmanship of Sabae, the brand proposes high-quality designs that blend seamlessly into daily life. In 1985, it was discovered by the renowned Los Angeles boutique "MOSCOT," marking its expansion into the global market. Re-launched as the current line in 2018, it continues to update classics with a contemporary sensibility.
